Production Description

The UVF Reverse Primer series is engineered to create the classic 'drip-off' (Pro-Cure) surface finish directly on sheet-fed offset presses with an inline coating tower. Applied through an ordinary lithographic offset printing unit using standard CTP plates, the primer chemically repels the subsequent overall UV coater varnish, generating high-contrast satin/sand matte textures in registered areas against mirror gloss backgrounds.

High differential contrast: generates deep matte tactile relief in primer zones against high mirror gloss (>85 GU) in unprimed zones.
No specialized tooling: uses standard offset printing plates and standard ink ducts, saving expensive textured gravure/screen cylinders.
